I finally got the Amazon version of Ye Olde Astrology Activity Book Volume 2 live and available to all. Just as a soon the proof hit my doorstep and the link went live, I started working on the (yes, I’m serious) third distributor for my little abomination. But let’s focus on one thing at a time.

The Amazon KDP upload came with the caveat that I had to reformat my files to add some extra space to the outer trim of the documents. Annoying, but okay. Guess what? Ingram Spark is requiring the same thing.

So the lesson I learned here is to find the largest size and start there then downsize the files accordingly.

Why would I want to continue this madness with three different printers? Well here’s the deepest sigh of all—yes, this is an emdash moment—no one wants to pay Bezos but everyone is too lazy and finicky with their information to trust smaller online retailers and the brick and mortar businesses have their own preferred network for a handful of additional reasons. It’s really insane, but here we are.

The win is that I am now a published author on Amazon as well as Lulu.

The win is that there are buying choices for you.

The lose is that I am still stuck reformatting my files for a third time to meet Ingram Spark’s dimension requirements. Then I have to wait on the proof, finalize my listing, and maybe I can relax and consider all the boxes checked in some way that is satisfactory to my soul.
